Dr. Leon Wleklinski grew up in Chicago, IL, where he decided in his teens that he wanted to follow to be a chiropractor. He says that his inspiration was watching his father whose work required constant heavy lifting benefit greatly from chiropractic for many years. And, in fact, Dr. Leon is living his dream! After graduating from the National University of Health Sciences, Dr. Leon took over the practice of Dr. Albert Benz, who had been in practice over 40 years. Now, Dr. Leon has kept it going strong for 40 more years making it one of the longest-running chiropractic practices in the country.
Dr. Leon provides a wide variety of services to the community, from traditional chiropractic care to the most up-to-date in pain relief technology. He is one of the few physicians in the Chicago area to be certified in an advanced procedure for serious chronic pain, called Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA). In addition, he offers supplementary services such as massage, acupuncture, and nutrition therapy.
